The impact of COVID19 on eCommerce in the European market

The data shows that eCommerce has a stable sales increase by comparing the weeks of the last 3 years, the health crisis hasn't negatively affected the market.

YEAR-Over-YEAR SALES COMPARISON BY WEEKS

Regardless of the shown stability, there are some significant changes in some categories.

The health product sales have been increased the most (+213.31 %), followed by building materials (112.38 %) and children's goods (100 %).

On the other hand, Office, Workshop, Warehouse segment has a big drop in sales reaching -40 %. Garden and Clothes and Fashion continue to have increased sales but the rate compared to the previous year is much lower.
